A good example of the malleable nature of Ashchurch would be the strip out and refurbishment scheme for Dana Axle Europe Ltd ( formerly GKN Axles) at their Witton East Facory in Birmingham. The client relocated their heat treatment facility to Mexico, as as such required the factory to be stripped out of all of the Furnaces and shot blasting equipment, we won the tender process to remove all of the machinery to include replacing the asbestos roofs, painting the factory and overlaying the concrete floors with a resin screed, all delivered on time whilst working closely with the logistical department to ensure the continued productivity in the main factory works, photographs of this scheme can be seen in our gallery section.
